Return & Refund Policy

1) Scope and Intent
This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made through skycampsupply.com (the “Website”) operated by PalaceofPalms LLC dba Sky Camp Supply (“Sky Camp Supply,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
We aim to make returns clear, fair, and efficient—especially for large items that may ship via freight.
2) Quick Summary
- Standard return window (change of mind): Return requests must be submitted within 60 days of delivery/receipt.
- Return condition: Items must be unused, unassembled (where applicable), and in original packaging with all parts/accessories.
- Final sale: Sale/Clearance items are final sale and not eligible for return.
- 2-Day Return Rule (Non-Conforming Shipments): You must report damage, defects, or non-conforming shipments to Sky Camp Supply within 2 days of delivery/receipt and include required documentation (including the shipper exception number when applicable).
- Refund method: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (or store credit for gifts), subject to deductions described below.
- RMA required: Returns require authorization and return instructions from Sky Camp Supply.
3) Definitions
Non-Conforming Shipment means a product that arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, missing components, or otherwise does not match the item ordered.
2-Day Return Rule means:
- “Report any damage to the SELLER (Sky Camp Supply) within 2 days of receiving a product.”
- “Include the shipper exception number when applicable.”
If these requirements are not met, the shipment may be treated as accepted and we may be unable to offer a return/refund/replacement for that issue, to the extent permitted by law. - 4) Return Eligibility (Change of Mind Returns)
You may be eligible to return an item if all of the following are met:
A. Timing
Your return request is submitted within 60 days of delivery/receipt.
B. Condition
The item is unused, undamaged, and in the same condition you received it.
C. Packaging and Contents
The item is returned in its original packaging, with all components, accessories, manuals, and included materials.
D. Proof of Purchase
You can provide an order number or proof of purchase.
E. Return Shipment Timing
Once your return is approved, you must ship the item (or make it available for pickup, if freight) within 7 days of receiving return instructions, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
5) Items Not Eligible for Return
The following are not eligible for return or refund (unless required by applicable law):
- Sale/Clearance items (sold “as-is”)
- Items that have been used, installed, assembled, or modified
- Items returned outside the 60-day return request window
- Items missing parts/accessories/manuals
- Items returned without original packaging (may be refused or subject to fees)
- Made-to-order / custom products (see Section 13)
6) How to Start a Return
A. Standard Returns (Small Parcel Items)
Email support@skycampsupply.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return. If a self-serve return option is available on the Website, you may also initiate there.
B. Freight / Large Items (LTL Shipments)
For freight-delivered items, do not ship anything back without written return instructions from our team. Contact support@skycampsupply.com or 1-650-449-4038 and we will coordinate next steps.
C. Return Authorization Required
If your return is approved, we will issue return instructions and may provide a Return Authorization (RMA). Returns sent without authorization may be refused.
7) Return Shipping Costs and Fees (Change of Mind Returns)
A. Return Shipping
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless we state otherwise in writing.
B. Restocking Fees
For eligible returns not caused by our error:
- Small-parcel items: 10% restocking fee may apply.
- Freight/LTL items: 15% restocking fee may apply.
C. Packaging / Condition Deductions
If an item is returned without original packaging or not in return-ready condition, we may apply additional deductions or refuse the return.
D. Refused Deliveries / Return-to-Sender (RTS)
If you refuse delivery for reasons other than documented carrier damage, or provide an undeliverable/incorrect address, the order may be treated as a return and you may be responsible for fees and applicable restocking.
8) 2-Day Return Rule for Damage, Defects, and Non-Conforming Shipments
A. Reporting Deadline
You must report any damage, defect, or non-conforming shipment to Sky Camp Supply within 2 days of delivery/receipt.
B. Required Documentation
To open a claim and help us resolve quickly, include:
- your order number,
- photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and shipping label,
- photos/video clearly showing the damage/defect/non-conformity, and
- the shipper exception number when applicable (for example: a carrier exception/claim reference number shown in tracking, on freight paperwork, or provided by the carrier).
The shipper exception number is the carrier’s exception/claim reference and may appear in the carrier tracking details (e.g., “Exception” or “Delivery Exception”), on freight paperwork such as the Proof of Delivery (POD), or in a claim/exception email or reference provided by the carrier.
C. Failure to Follow the 2-Day Rule
If the 2-Day Return Rule and documentation requirements are not followed, we may be unable to file a carrier/supplier claim and the shipment will be treated as accepted; in that case, the “No Return Policy” for that non-conformity applies (meaning we may deny return/refund/replacement for that issue), to the extent permitted by law.
9) Freight (LTL) Deliveries: Inspection Rules
For freight deliveries, inspect the shipment before signing. If visible damage exists:
- note the damage on the Proof of Delivery (POD), and
- take photos.
If damage is significant, you may have the right to refuse delivery. Regardless of acceptance or refusal, you must still report the issue to us within 2 days and include required documentation (including shipper exception number when applicable).
10) Missing Packages / Marked Delivered but Not Received
If tracking shows “delivered” but you can’t locate the package, contact us within 2 days of the delivery scan so we can help initiate the appropriate carrier process.
11) Refunds
A. Inspection and Approval
Refunds are issued after we receive and inspect the return (or confirm return status through our freight/warehouse process).
B. Refund Method
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Deductions described in this policy may apply.
C. Timing
Once approved, refunds are typically processed within a reasonable time. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.
12) Gifts
Gift returns are typically refunded as store credit unless we determine otherwise.
13) Made-to-Order / Custom Items
Made-to-order or custom items are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund except in cases of verified defect, damage in transit, or incorrect item delivered—subject to the 2-Day Return Rule above.
14) Order Cancellations
You may request cancellation by contacting us as soon as possible.
- Within 24 hours of purchase: We will make reasonable efforts to cancel for a full refund if the order has not entered fulfillment/shipped.
- After 24 hours: Cancellation may not be possible.
15) Legal Rights
This policy does not affect any rights you may have under applicable law.
